MICHELE PIRRO (Team Yamaha Lorenzini by Leoni) – “Sono partito bene ma alla prima variante non ho voluto assolutamente rischiare preferendo lasciar passare un paio di concorrenti. Da li ho impostato subito il mio ritmo e sono potuto fuggire con relativa tranquillita’, gli avversari alle mie spalle infatti non hanno mai mollato neppure per un attimo. Questa gara era importantissima per prepararci al mondiale della prossima settimana e devo dire che siamo riusciti a fare un ottimo lavoro di gruppo. Desidero ringraziare Vanni e tutti i tecnici del team in quanto sono stati fantastici mettendomi a disposizione una moto perfetta. Abbiamo recuperato tanto quest’oggi, ma non dobbiamo sederci sugli allori, il cammino e’ ancora lungo. Spero la prossima settimana di regalare ai miei tanti amici una domenica altrettanto spettacolare”

CHRIS SEATON (Real Racing Team) - “Considerando i problemi che abbiamo avuto in prova, il mio settimo posto finale mi soddisfa abbastanza. Nel warm up del mattino abbiamo apportato alla mia Yamaha alcune modifiche che in gara si sono rivelate azzeccate. Ho potuto fare una gara tutta all’attacco ed i miei tempi sul giro sono stati migliori rispetto a quelli che avevo stabilito nelle prove. Questo significa che siamo sulla strada giusta e devo quindi ringraziare il mio team ha lavorato moltissimo per sistemare al meglio la mia moto. Stiamo pensando di effettuare qualche test privato prima della prossima prova di Valleunga per arrivare preparati alla prossima gara del campionato Italiano”.
TOMMASO LORENZETTI (Real Racing Team) - “In prova abbiamo avuto molti problemi, soprattutto dovuti all’inesperienza in quanto era la prima volta che scendevamo in pista a Monza, una pista difficile da interpretare. Nonostante il grande lavoro dei miei tecnici, in gara la mia Yamaha non era perfettamente a punto e quindi con il mio ottavo posto posso affermare di aver limitato i danni. E’ stata una gara difficile corsa sempre in bagarre e solo negli ultimi giri sono riuscito a trovare un buon ritmo tanto che mi stavo avvicinando al gruppo di piloti che mi precedevano, ma che non ho avuto il tempo di raggiungere. Sono dispiaciuto ma non certo demotivato, in quanto a Misano abbiamo dimostrato di poter stare con i primi e quindi archiviamo questa giornata e pensiamo alla prossima prova di Vallelunga”.
REMO CASTELLARIN (Real Racing Team) - “Sono partito molto bene ed alla prima curva ero in ottava posizione. Purtroppo nel caos della terribile prima variante sono stato urtato da alcuni piloti ed ho perso molte posizioni. Stavo rimontando quando ho commesso un errore, sono uscito di pista e sono rientrato in ventiduesima posizione. Ho fatto appena in tempo ad effettuare alcuni sorpassi, ma era ormai troppo tardi e la gara e’ terminata. Il mio diciottesimo posto non mi soddisfa di certo, ma sono contento perche’ i miei tempi sul giro erano molto vicini a quelli dei primi e questo mi fa ben sperare per le prossime gare. La mano fratturata non e’ ancora al cento per cento, ma sto molto meglio rispetto a Misano e sara’ in perfetta forma a Vallelunga”.

Lumma Design BMW CLR X 650 GT

sound great from Lumma Design have he has announced the world premiere of the new BMW X6-based CLR X 650 GT in super world event at the Geneva Auto Salon which opens up on March 3. As with all tuning proposals from the German firm, the BMW CLR X 650 GT's styling is a case of love it or loathe it. The aerodynamic pack adorns the X6 with several components including a new front bumper with a carbon fiber lip spoiler, wider fenders, side skirts, new rear bumper and a carbon fiber boot wing.The front spoiler is custom-fitted and is integrated to the daytime running lights. The front and rear fenders are enlarged, suspension is lowered, and the roof is finished in matte black. The 11x23-inch deep-dish rims are matched with high-performance tyres of size 315/25-23.

Lumma is not only known for exterior work but for the inside as well. For this part they fitted upgraded leather trim, sports seats upholstered in leather and ultra-suede. A flat-bottom sports steering wheel with a shift indicator makes the driver feel more willing than ever.

Although the pedals themselves were left untouched, the gas pedal features something Lumma calls the Gas Pedal Module or GPM. GPM works with the 4.4-litre turbocharged V8 and reprogrammed ECU to increase pedal response for enthusiastic driving.

Hyundai's new ix-onic concept



recently i got news first live photos of Hyundai's new ix-onic concept, it study that now was revealed to the members of the press during a special event prior to the Geneva Motor Show( GMS).
The 'swoopy' styled ix-onic concept gives us a good indication of where Hyundai's design department is heading to with the next-generation Tucson compact SUV that will be called "ix35" in Europe under the firm's new naming system.

The live shots also give us our first taste of the ix-onic's interior which looks production-ready. The concept study is equipped with a new 1.6-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine producing an output of 175-horsepower.
